Description

Delicious BBQ Chicken Flatbreads made with grilled chicken, cheese, and fresh vegetables.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pieces Flatbread Crusts (Store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup BBQ Sauce (Opt for low-sugar for a healthier option)
  • 2 cups Diced Grilled Chicken or Shredded Rotisserie Chicken (Main protein source)
  • 3 cups Shredded Colby Jack Cheese (Can be substituted with cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 cup Chopped Bell Peppers (Any variety works well)
  • to taste Thinly Sliced Green Onions (Fresh garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it inside for an extra crispy crust.
  2. Arrange the flatbread crusts on baking sheets. Sprinkle a light dusting of cornmeal to prevent sticking and ensure a delightful texture.
  3. Spread BBQ sauce evenly across each flatbread, leaving a small border around the edges.
  4. Top the sauce with a generous layer of shredded Colby Jack cheese.
  5. Scatter diced chicken and chopped bell peppers evenly over the cheese.
  6. Bake for 12-14 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the edges of the crust are golden brown and crisp.
  7. Rest the flatbreads for 1-2 minutes. Garnish with sliced green onions, slice into pieces, and enjoy!
