- 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz penne pasta
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh basil or parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced chicken and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes; season with salt and pepper.
- Stir in marinara sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain without rinsing.
- In a bowl, combine cooked pasta with the chicken mixture gently.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish, top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, then bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
