Description

Deliciously crispy and flavorful baked chicken, perfect for a family dinner.


Ingredients

  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup buttermilk (full-fat)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Cooking spray or oil for greasing

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken in a mixture of buttermilk, salt, and pepper for at least 1 hour in the fridge.
  2. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a bowl, combine flour, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Dredge marinated chicken pieces in the seasoned flour until well-coated.
  5. Place coated chicken on the prepared baking sheet and lightly spray with cooking oil.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
