- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup fresh blackberries
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until combined.
- In another bowl, mix milk, egg, and melted butter until smooth.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients; stir until just combined (lumpy batter is fine).
- Gently fold in blackberries to avoid crushing them.
- Spoon batter into muffin tins until two-thirds full and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- For best results, use fresh blackberries.
