Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons za’atar spice blend
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • Lemon slices for garnish
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, za’atar, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
  2. Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish or resealable bag; pour marinade over salmon and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to 2 hours for best flavor).
  3. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Remove salmon from marinade; place on prepared baking sheet skin-side down. Top each fillet with lemon slices.
