Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Heat the oven to 325°F (165°C). Line a 5×5-inch baking dish with plastic wrap, leaving a few inches overhang for easy lifting. Set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, beat the butter, sugar, and vanilla with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth and creamy.
  3. Gradually mix in the flour until the dough begins to form.
  4. Fold in the sprinkles.
  5. Gently knead the dough in the bowl a few times until it forms a smooth ball.
  6. Press the dough evenly into the prepared dish.
  7. Lift the dough out using the plastic wrap and cut into 1/2-inch squares. Arrange the pieces on a parchment-lined baking sheet about 1/2 inch apart.
  8. Bake for 13 to 15 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
