Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup beef broth

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Transfer the beef mixture to a slow cooker. Add the kidney beans, black beans, diced tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, black pepper, and beef broth.
  4. Stir all ingredients together to combine well.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours, or until the chili is thick and flavorful.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with your favorite toppings such as shredded cheese, sour cream, or chopped green onions.
