Description
A delicious bowl combining tender beef and sweet pineapple, perfect for a quick meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 500g beef steak, cubed
- 2 cups fresh pineapple chunks
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley or cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Marinate the Beef: In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Add the beef cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
- Cook the Beef: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef cubes to the skillet, cooking until browned on all sides and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- Cook the Pineapple: In the same skillet, add the pineapple chunks and sauté over medium heat until they start to caramelize, about 4-5 minutes. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes if desired.
- Assemble the Bowl: In serving bowls, arrange the cooked beef and pineapple chunks. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley or cilantro.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the beef overnight in the refrigerator.
- You can add vegetables like bell peppers or snap peas for added nutrition and color.
- Ensure the beef is not overcrowded in the skillet to allow proper browning.
- Adjust the sweetness and spiciness to your preference by modifying the amount of honey and red pepper flakes.
