Delicious homemade caramel apples perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients

- 6 medium apples
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 6 wooden sticks
Instructions
- Wash and dry apples. Insert a wooden stick into each apple.
- In a saucepan, mix sugar and water. Heat until sugar dissolves.
- Cook until the mixture turns golden brown.
- Remove from heat. Carefully stir in heavy cream, butter, vanilla, and salt.
- Let the caramel cool slightly. Dip each apple into the caramel, coating evenly.
- Place on parchment paper to set. Serve when caramel hardens.
Notes
- Ensure apples are completely dry for better caramel adherence.
- You can add nuts or sprinkles on top of the caramel for extra flavor.
