This delicious apple puff pastry combines sweet Granny Smith apples with warm spices, all wrapped in flaky pastry.

- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry (thawed)
- 3 cups Granny Smith apples (peeled, sliced)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup raisins (optional)
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix sliced apples, sugar, cinnamon, raisins, and nuts.
- Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thickness.
- Spoon apple mixture along one edge of the pastry and roll tightly.
- Seal ends and place seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush with egg wash.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
