- 1 lb boneless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
- 4 garlic cloves, crushed
- 3 tbsp honey
- ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together ginger, garlic, honey, soy sauce, and sesame oil to create the marinade.
- Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight for best flavor.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (400°F/200°C). Soak wooden skewers in water if using.
- Thread marinated chicken onto skewers with space between each piece. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Grill skewers for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and they are nicely charred.
- Serve hot off the grill with extra marinade drizzled on top if desired.
