Description
A delicious beef stir-fry made with flank steak, fresh vegetables, and a savory sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 lb beef flank steak, sliced into thin strips
- 2 tbsp soy sauce (low-sodium)
- 2–3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 thumb-sized piece of fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/4 cup oyster sauce
- 1 cup bell peppers, sliced (mixed colors)
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil (high smoke-point)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix sliced flank steak with soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and cornstarch. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat; add enough vegetable oil to coat the bottom.
- Sear marinated beef in batches until golden brown and crispy (about 3 minutes each side).
- Add sliced bell peppers and stir-fry for another 2 minutes. Pour in oyster sauce and mix well.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving hot over rice or noodles.
Notes
- For added flavor, serve with cooked rice or noodles
- You can substitute other vegetables as desired
