Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Make the Brownie Batter:
    • In a saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Once melted, remove from heat and mix in the cocoa powder until smooth.
    • In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract.
    • Gradually add the cocoa and butter mixture into the egg mixture while stirring continuously.
    • Sift in the flour, baking powder, and salt into the wet ingredients. Stir until just combined.
  3. Bake:
    • Pour the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.

    • Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.

    • Decorate with green and gold edible sprinkles or pearls.
    • Top with a star-shaped decoration on each tree.
