- 1 cup hot water
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2–3 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Fresh strawberries, sliced
- Chocolate sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a Bundt pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add buttermilk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined.
- Carefully stir in the hot water until you have a smooth batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared Bundt pan.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.
- Heat the heavy cream in a small saucepan over medium heat until it begins to simmer.
- Pour the hot cream over the chopped chocolate in a bowl. Let it sit for a few minutes, then stir until smooth.
- In a bowl, mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Once the cake is cool, drizzle the chocolate glaze over the top, letting it drip down the sides.
- Follow with the white glaze, drizzling over the cake.
- Decorate with fresh strawberry slices and chocolate sprinkles.

- Ensure the cake is completely cool before glazing to prevent the glaze from melting.
- You can substitute semi-sweet chocolate with dark or milk chocolate according to your preference for the glaze.
- For a richer chocolate flavor, add a teaspoon of instant coffee granules to the cake batter.
- Keep the cake covered at room temperature to maintain its moisture.
