Description

This chicken and biscuit casserole is a comforting and easy meal perfect for any night of the week.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 can (10 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, frozen mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, milk, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, thyme, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Pour the chicken mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  4. Place biscuit dough pieces evenly on top of the casserole.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until biscuits are golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  6. Let the casserole cool for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
