Description

Deliciously creamy chicken Alfredo served in toasted bread bowls.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 pieces Chicken breasts, cut into cubes
  • 1 pound Pasta (penne, fettuccine, or your choice)
  • 1 jar Alfredo sauce (about 15 oz)
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 pieces Kaiser rolls or more if needed
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted
  • 34 teaspoons Garlic and herb seasoning
  • 1/2 cup Shredded parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Season the cubed chicken breasts with garlic and herb seasoning, salt, and pepper. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat and cook the chicken for 6-8 minutes until fully cooked through and lightly browned.
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add your choice of pasta and cook until al dente according to package instructions. Drain the pasta well and set aside.
  3. Slice the tops off the Kaiser rolls and gently hollow out the centers, creating bread bowls without piercing through the bottom or sides.
  4. Combine melted unsalted butter with garlic and herb seasoning. Using a brush, coat the inside and edges of the hollowed-out bread bowls evenly with this mixture.
  5. Place the coated bread bowls on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 4-5 minutes until they become lightly toasted and slightly crispy.
  6. In a large bowl or skillet, mix the cooked pasta with Alfredo sauce and the cooked chicken cubes. Stir thoroughly to ensure everything is well coated and combined.
  7. Spoon the chicken Alfredo mixture into the toasted bread bowls, filling each generously. Sprinkle shredded Parmesan cheese on top of each bowl.
  8. Return the filled bread bowls to the oven and bake for another 4-5 minutes at 375°F (190°C) until the Parmesan cheese melts, and the bread edges turn crispy.
  9. Remove from the oven and serve the chicken Alfredo garlic bread bowls hot. Garnish with fresh parsley or red pepper flakes if desired for added flavor and color.

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider garnishing with fresh parsley or red pepper flakes.
  • Adjust the amount of garlic and herb seasoning according to your taste preference.
