Description
Deliciously creamy chicken Alfredo served in toasted bread bowls.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 pieces Chicken breasts, cut into cubes
- 1 pound Pasta (penne, fettuccine, or your choice)
- 1 jar Alfredo sauce (about 15 oz)
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 6 pieces Kaiser rolls or more if needed
- 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted
- 3–4 teaspoons Garlic and herb seasoning
- 1/2 cup Shredded parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Season the cubed chicken breasts with garlic and herb seasoning, salt, and pepper. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat and cook the chicken for 6-8 minutes until fully cooked through and lightly browned.
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add your choice of pasta and cook until al dente according to package instructions. Drain the pasta well and set aside.
- Slice the tops off the Kaiser rolls and gently hollow out the centers, creating bread bowls without piercing through the bottom or sides.
- Combine melted unsalted butter with garlic and herb seasoning. Using a brush, coat the inside and edges of the hollowed-out bread bowls evenly with this mixture.
- Place the coated bread bowls on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 4-5 minutes until they become lightly toasted and slightly crispy.
- In a large bowl or skillet, mix the cooked pasta with Alfredo sauce and the cooked chicken cubes. Stir thoroughly to ensure everything is well coated and combined.
- Spoon the chicken Alfredo mixture into the toasted bread bowls, filling each generously. Sprinkle shredded Parmesan cheese on top of each bowl.
- Return the filled bread bowls to the oven and bake for another 4-5 minutes at 375°F (190°C) until the Parmesan cheese melts, and the bread edges turn crispy.
- Remove from the oven and serve the chicken Alfredo garlic bread bowls hot. Garnish with fresh parsley or red pepper flakes if desired for added flavor and color.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider garnishing with fresh parsley or red pepper flakes.
- Adjust the amount of garlic and herb seasoning according to your taste preference.
