Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook Beef: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until translucent. Add the ground beef, cooking until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
- Mix Ingredients: Stir in the condensed cream of mushroom soup and sour cream into the cooked beef. Mix well to combine.
- Assemble Casserole: In a greased baking dish, spread the beef mixture evenly. Top with a layer of tater tots, arranging them neatly.
- Add Cheese: Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese generously over the tater tots.
- Bake: Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
- Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve hot.
