Description

A delightful treat made with chocolate, butterscotch, and chow mein noodles.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz semisweet chocolate chips
  • 11 oz butterscotch chips
  • 24 tablespoons peanut butter (optional)
  • 12 oz chow mein noodles
  • Sprinkles
  • Marshmallows
  • Coconut

Instructions

  1. Line a large baking sheet with wax paper or parchment paper. Set aside for later.
  2. Use a double boiler to melt the chocolate, butterscotch, and peanut butter (if using), or add chocolate and butterscotch chips to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 20 seconds, then remove and stir—if the chocolate is softened, then add peanut butter. If not, heat once more and add the peanut butter.
  3. Repeat heating and stirring in between each round until smooth, being careful not to overheat.
  4. Add chow mein noodles and fold until completely coated.
  5. Using a medium scoop, scoop about 2 tablespoons of mixture into the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Top with optional toppings. Allow to set at room temperature about 20-30 minutes, then enjoy!
